We Spotted the PSLE 2025 Oral SBC Question — Here’s How Ours Compared
This week marks the 2025 PSLE English Oral exam, and we’re thrilled to share that weeks before the exam, our P6 students practised a question revolving around hawker centres and guess what? The PSLE oral question had the same theme. Here’s a breakdown of how our practice aligned
with the actual exam
Disclaimer: This is not the actual stimulus from the PSLE. It is a recreated version based on our students’ description.

Our Practice SBC Question

Here’s our take on one of the SBC Questions on Day 2!

Since our students had already discussed a similar theme, they entered the exam feeling confident, and prepared.
At The Brainarium, we don’t just drill students with practice questions. We teach them to:
- Break down visual stimuli effectively
- Use A.R.E structure for responses (Answer, Reason, Elaboration)
- Draw from personal experiences to sound relatable
- Express opinions with depth
We’re so proud of our P6s for tackling their Oral Exam with courage, and we’re even more excited to see how they’ll apply the same skills in Paper 1 and 2.
